2D IMPRESSION PET PRINTS
“Pets are humanizing. They remind us we have an obligation and responsibility to preserve and nuture and care for all in life” James Cromwell
When you come along to the studio to have a 2D pet impression it is advisable to bring along your pet’s favourite treats to keep them preoccupied when the print is being created.
The process involves using using terracotta clay. The paw is pressed into clay, removed and with the use of precious dental plaster a tile is created. The tile is sanded and placed in a frame. The process is quick and advisable if you have a dog that won’t sit still for long.
Often asked, what pets can have an impression taken the most common are:-
The tiles are sanded, left to dry and the finsihed in a colour of your choice. They can then be displayed in one of three ways:-
