Precious Memories – About Us

Precious Memories Studio in Poole, Dorset

Hi my name is Glenda and I am fully qualified Primary School Teacher and I have been  a WAHM (work at home mum) for the past 15 years.  I have been with my husband for 27 years and mum to two gorgeous girls, Bailey (15) and Savana (11).

Meet the team at Precious Memories

Living in a fabulous part of the country Poole, Dorset I feel very lucky to have such beautiful beaches on my doorstep.

.My family also consists of two rabbits Munchkin & Tinker and two dogs Phoebe our rescue Shih Tzu and Pickle our cockapoo.

I have been running Precious Memories for the past 15 years.  I am often asked how did the company start and my response to this is – it wasn’t planned.  I began offering 3D Castings to family and friends and the magic of networking meant that I was soon creating more and more keepsakes.  I began with 3D Castings, which then branched out into the luxury castings.  A few months later, due to the closure of a company called Kindercast, I had a huge interest in 2D Impressions, so began offering these.  Soon Silver Fingerprint jewellery and belly bump castings and bowls followed and it also became apparent that our furry friends shouldn’t be left out either, so pet prints were created too.

One of the last products to be created, which is probably one of my favourites are the triangle family handclasps.  They are a great keepsake to create and are lots of fun.

Having the flexibility to work around my girls is also fantastic and I am keen to offer the same opportunities for other mums and dads who want to do the same.  My low cost training days are tailored to each person individually.

I have created so many keepsakes over the years I have lost count and knowing how much joy it brings to the client still gives me the same feeling of satisfaction, 15 years on.  No two days are ever the same and I can see me creating keepsakes for many years to come as the beauty of this business is that it is recession proof!
