graeme swann england cricket bowler finalist helps raise money for charity with 3d casting

Graeme Swann is bowled over with excitement with his casting

GRAEME SWANN, NOTTINGHAM AND ENGLAND BOWLER, HAS HAD A 3D CAST TAKEN OF HIS BOWLING HAND FOR CHARITY.

Precious Memories created a 3D cast of Graeme Swann’s bowling hand, holding a cricket ball, which was later auctioned for charity.

Graeme agreed to the casting, which took place at his home, and also donated a rare signed photograph of the England Test Squad V India 2011, as well as his signed shirt.  The cast was authenticated by a signed certificate and a photo of the cast being made

The auction took place at the Nottingham Neonatal Charity Ball on September 24 2011 and all proceeds went  to the Nottingham University Hospital Neonatal Units.

Precious Memories suggested the unusual fundraising activity after meeting Jenny Bond from the Nottingham Neonatal Charity at an event in June.  Jenny loved the idea and soon came back to confirm Graeme Swann had agreed to the casting and a date was made.

The 4th Annual Nottingham Neonatal Ball took place on September 24th 2011 and included a three course meal, coffee, live music, entertainment and disco.  The auction generated thousands of pounds for the charity which also included a signed Carl Foch photos, a Porsche driving experience, a film making session, and a theatre break.

Graeme Swann is an English international cricketer. After initially playing for his home county Northamptonshire, he moved to Nottinghamshire in 2005. In May 2010, he was named ECB Cricketer of the Year. In 2011 Swann rose to number 1 in the ICC’s ODI bowler rankings and was part of the England team that claimed the number 1 ranking in Test cricket.
