Graeme Swann raises money for local charity with 3D Casting

Graeme Swann, has 3D HandCasting to raise money for charity.

Graeme agreed to the casting, which took place at his home. He also donated a rare signed photograph of the England Test Squad V India 2011. As well as his signed shirt. 
 
To ensure the cast was authentic at the auction it included:-
 
– a signed certificate and
– a photo of Graeme having his hand cast

Nottingham Neonatal Charity Ball

The auction took place at the Nottingham Neonatal Charity Ball on September 24 2011. All proceeds went  to the Nottingham University Hospital Neonatal Units.
 
Precious Memories suggested the unusual fundraising activity after meeting Jenny Bond. Jenny works for the Nottingham Neonatal Charity. Jenny loved the idea and soon came back to confirm Graeme Swann had agreed to the casting.
 
The 4th Annual Nottingham Neonatal Ball took place on September 24th 2011. This included a three course meal, coffee, live music, entertainment and disco.  The auction generated thousands of pounds for the charity. This also included:-

 

  • a signed Carl Foch photos,
  • a Porsche driving experience,
  • a film making session, and
  • a theatre break.
 
Graeme Swann is an English international cricketer. He began playing for his home county Northamptonshire. He then moved to Nottinghamshire in 2005. In May 2010, Graeme was ECB Cricketer of the Year. In 2011 Swann rose to number 1 in the ICC’s ODI bowler rankings. Alongside this he was part of the England team that claimed the number 1 ranking in Test cricket.
