PRECIOUS MEMORIES

Welcome to Precious Memories
Hi and welcome to Precious Memories 3D Casting Training – a business I started over 20 years ago, born from personal frustration and a deep desire for balance.
I’m Glenda. In 2003, I became a mum for the first time. Like so many women, I still wanted to work, but I couldn’t find anything flexible enough to fit around my new role as a parent. With a background in recruitment, marketing, and teaching, I was used to being busy and fulfilled – but the jobs available just didn’t support the life I wanted for my family.
I didn’t want to miss those precious early years, but I also didn’t want to give up my independence or income. I needed a way to work from home, set my own hours, and still do something meaningful and creative. That’s when Precious Memories 3D Casting was born – first as a hobby, then as a business that changed everything.

fitting around family
In 2007, my second daughter was born, and Precious Memories continued to grow alongside my family.
One of the biggest advantages of this work is the flexibility. When I started, both of my daughters were at home with me, and I built my business around their needs. Over time I had bills to pay eg, Nursery. It’s a job that truly fits around family life, which helped ease the financial strain of childcare costs while still allowing me to work.
With the rising cost of living, many are searching for ways to earn extra income from home while cutting back on expenses. This industry offers exactly that—a chance to bring in money without sacrificing precious time with your children.
Recent data shows that 41% of UK workers now work from home at least some of the time, with those aged 30–49—the prime parenting years—being the most likely to do so. Additionally, 48% of UK workers desire more flexible working options, with 62% citing better work-life balance as the primary reason.
As a mum myself, I understand the pressures families are under. That’s why I’m passionate about helping other women create a business that works for them, not the other way around.

The move to Dorset offering 3d Training
In 2012, we were fortunate enough to relocate to Dorset, a place I now love to call home. Spending time with my family here is a pleasure, and walking my cockapoo, Pickle, along the beautiful beaches is one of my favourite ways to unwind.
Since starting Precious Memories, I’ve always sought ways to improve my business and keep it growing. With technology constantly changing, it’s crucial to adapt. That’s why I make sure my services are always relevant to the needs of home-based business owners.
As I’ve progressed, I realised my passion and experience could help others too. Offering training workshops has turned out to be a rewarding journey. It’s been amazing to see how my support has helped women find confidence and build their own businesses from home.
With over 100 five-star reviews, I’ve been fortunate to help countless women grow their confidence and create flexible, creative businesses. If you’re considering starting a work-from-home business, I’d love to help. My workshops provide the guidance you need to succeed and strike the right balance between work and family.
Ultimately, my goal is to show you that you can earn while spending quality time with your family. Together, we can take the first step towards your home-based business and build the confidence to make it thrive.

Customers from All over the world
I have trained hundreds of students from all over the world. It is an honour when they take the time to come to my studio in Dorset. This business has also enabled me to meet some amazing clients.
22 YEARS AND COUNTING…
Even after 20+ years I still love it ! Lockdown was grim and I did have to close my business. When I returned I realised that the demand for this business remains high. Creating keepsakes remains very recession-proof. This is a great consideration for anyone who might be thinking of starting a new career. When I began childcare costs were a consideration. Sadly, in this current climate childcare costs still are.

Working with Children and Animals
Doing this type of job does mean you can work around your children, in fact when I began mine were at home with me. With prices rising in everything, people are looking for ways to earn but also save. This industry is one where you can do both. As a mother myself, I can relate to the pressures families are facing in such challenging times.
