3D Casting Training
Why did I want to attend a 3D Casting Training Workshop? Before I started my own business I was working part time for a building society in Glasgow. I found trying to rush for trains and nursery pick ups really stressful. Furthermore, I felt I was letting my colleagues down when having to phone in sick when the kids were ill. I knew I wanted to do something creative and flexible to suit my family life. Over the years, I had had 3D casts done for my children when they were babies. Yet, I found it difficult to find a company which offered the service near me. Conseqently, I wanted to do some 3D Casting Training. So I decided to take the plunge and research how I could learn this new skill.
After researching, I found a few generic 4 hour courses available online. But, I felt i needed to do something practical. Precious Memories stood out for me because it was a 2 day course offering this. After speaking to the owner Glenda just once I knew that she was the person to help me on this journey. Her story of starting out 15 years ago was almost identical to my situation at the time. This made me feel confident that she could guide me all the way and indeed she has.
The 3D Casting Training was over two days. It was packed full of information. Covering all the ins and outs of the delicate process of 3D Castings. Glenda also focused on solutions to mistakes Glenda had encountered along the way. This information has been invaluable to me.
Pros of being a WAHM
I love being my own boss. Running this business gives me the flexibility to fit it around my family. Thankfully, I never worry about missing any pick ups or any milestones in my children’s lives. I also love the fact that I have rediscovered my creative side. This is something I didn’t think I would have the opportunity to do after school. I am so happy and proud of what I have achieved so far.
I have got to meet some amazing clients including pets. So, I also work with a fantastic photographer too. Attending Glenda’s 3D Casting Training course gives me amazing opportunities other start-up companies can’t. These include the luxurious range:-

Silver Fingerprint Jewellery
I also love the idea that I can offer my clients the personalised jewellery. I take the prints and then send them to Glenda at her studio in Poole, Dorset. Glenda then creates the pieces into stunning jewellery and then returns them to me. It means as a business, I can offer my clients a whole array of keepsakes.

So if you are looking for to start a keepsake business look no further. The training is amazing with Glenda. She offers support at both at the time but this is also on-going. I would highly recommend Glenda at Precious Memories.
