What You Will Learn in Your 3D Casting Training

Training is hands‑on from start to finish, with each day tailored to your goals. You will leave with portfolio‑ready pieces that demonstrate your skills and can be used immediately in your business or portfolio.

Day 1 — Foundations (£700)

A complete introduction to safe, confident baby casting, including moulding, pouring, finishing and presentation. You will work with a real baby model arranged for you and learn how to handle movement and wriggling safely.

Day 2 — Development + Airbrush (Included in 2‑Day Bundle)

Strengthen your technique with a second real model — either a baby of a different age or a pet paw. You’ll develop your casting skills further and learn airbrushing and professional finishing to create studio‑quality results.

Day 3 — Advanced Techniques (£700)

For experienced casters ready to take on technically demanding, premium commissions such as linked family hands, two‑step castings (e.g. adult hand holding a baby foot), family trees and more complex structures. You’ll also explore advanced materials and structural planning.

Airbrush Masterclass (Half Day — £350)

A focused session covering equipment setup, colour blending, gradients and professional finishing techniques. Ideal if you already cast confidently and want to elevate your finishes.

Recommended Training Pathway

Most students complete two or three days to develop consistent, professional‑quality results. You don’t need to complete all three days at once — many return for Day 3 when they feel ready. Training grows with you, at your pace, and is designed to prepare you for real‑world work, not just practice pieces.
