A studio built around learning
The studio exists entirely for focused, hands-on training — quiet, private and fully equipped, with examples of finished work surrounding you so you can see from the moment you arrive what is possible. You can therefore concentrate entirely on learning, without distraction.
Since most students travel specifically to train here, the studio environment is part of the experience. Many international students combine their visit with a few days exploring the Dorset coast — and the peaceful countryside setting makes it a genuinely enjoyable place to spend time as well as a serious place to learn.
Award Winning Lifecasting Training
Training is the heart of everything at Precious Memories Studio. Indeed, whether you are a complete beginner, a professional wanting to specialise in memorial work, or an experienced caster wanting to elevate your technique, the training is built entirely around you.
Courses cover baby and newborn casting, advanced lifecasting, memorial casting, raised tiles, belly bump, pet casting, silver fingerprint and handprint jewellery, and pet print jewellery. Moreover, each course is 1:1 — or occasionally a small group of colleagues or friends training together — and every session includes real models arranged by me, at no extra cost.
Every course earns its place here because clients genuinely want it and you can charge for it immediately. There are no techniques here that look impressive but don’t translate into bookings.

Travelling to the studio
You will find the studio located at Lytchett Matravers, Dorset — approximately 15 minutes from Poole and 30 minutes from Bournemouth. Free parking sits right outside the door. Since the location is easy to reach from most UK airports, many students combine their training with time in the area.
Students have travelled from Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Norway, Latvia, Germany, Holland, Spain, Cyprus, India, Tanzania and Los Angeles. For every student travelling from further afield, I provide personal guidance on local accommodation, travel routes and transport. I accept international payments via Wise.

Alongside training, I take a limited number of casting appointments for families in Poole, Bournemouth, Weymouth and the surrounding Dorset area. Sessions are calm, relaxed and entirely baby-led — reflecting the same care and attention that has earned over 100 five-star reviews on TripAdvisor.
Services available include 3D baby hand and foot castings, family handclasp sculptures, belly bump castings, raised 2D tiles, and pet paw castings. Spaces fill quickly, so early enquiry is worthwhile.
