One to one training is a key part as you don’t all need the same training. Before you arrive, I look at your recent work and talk to you about what you want to achieve. The day is then shaped around your level, your business and the techniques that will genuinely move you forward.

Once you arrive you aren’t spending the day watching someone else demonstrate. You work through the techniques yourself, with real models, so you leave understanding the process rather than simply having seen it done.

The Airbrush Masterclass: A Separate Half Day
Professional airbrushing is taught as its own dedicated half-day course rather than being bolted onto the Advanced Masterclass. If you want to develop your finishing techniques alongside your advanced casting skills, you can book the two courses separately, either on the same date or different dates.

Who This Advanced Lifecasting Training Is For
This masterclass suits experienced casters who are ready to take their work further. Before booking, you should already be comfortable with:
- Basic mould-taking
- Mixing and pouring plaster correctly

Please note this is not a beginner course. Furthermore, it is also suited to professionals expanding into more complex or higher-value work, including keepsake studio owners, pet cremation providers, funeral directors and memorial specialists.

Common Mistakes This Masterclass Will Help You Fix
Do any of these sound familiar, we can address them directly during your training:
- Using the same alginate for every casting
- Weak or unstable multi-hand structures

Travelling to Dorset for Advanced Lifecasting Training
The studio is in Lytchett Matravers, Dorset, approximately 15 minutes from Poole and 30 minutes from Bournemouth, with free parking. For students travelling from further afield, I am happy to help with accommodation suggestions and travel guidance. International payments are accepted via Wise, and training dates are arranged around your schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions
How experienced do I need to be before booking?
You should already be casting comfortably, with alginate, plaster, demoulding and working with real models. This is not a beginner course. If you are unsure whether your level is right, send me a few photos of your recent work and I will give you an honest answer.
Do I need to send photos before I book?
Ideally yes. This is how I shape the day around you rather than giving you a generic masterclass. Seeing your recent work tells me where to start, what to focus on and how to use the day most effectively.
Is this the same as Day 3 of the Hand Casting pathway?
Absolutely. If you have already completed Days 1 and 2 with me and want to continue, this is Day 3. If you are an experienced caster coming from elsewhere, this standalone masterclass gives you the same advanced content in a single private day.
What training formats are available?
The masterclass is normally a private 1:1 session. Small groups are also possible where everyone works in the same industry, such as colleagues who work together. Group sessions are priced per person, so get in touch to discuss which format suits you.
Can I book the Airbrush Masterclass alongside this course?
You can, but the Airbrush Masterclass is booked as a separate half day so each session gets your full attention.
