Creating a beautiful cast takes skill, patience and attention to detail. Airbrushing is the finishing stage that can add depth, warmth and realism. It helps your keepsakes achieve the professional finish your work deserves.
This specialist one-to-one training session is for people who already create casts and keepsakes. It’s designed to improve your finishing skills specifically.
Whether you create baby casts, family castings, pet keepsakes or memorial pieces, this Masterclass focuses on one thing: helping you achieve a more consistent, professional finish.
Bring your own cast or keepsake along. We’ll work on your piece together, so everything you learn relates directly to your own work.
Training is one-to-one and private. Bring your own cast or keepsake along, whatever it’s for, baby, pet, family or memorial work. You’ll leave with supplier recommendations, full training notes and videos, and ongoing support afterwards.

Take your finishing skills further
A business that’s been running for as long as mine doesn’t stay still. I’m always investing in improving my materials and techniques. This year, that’s meant properly offering airbrush finishing training for the first time.
It’s grown out of real demand. Over the past year, more and more casters, people who trained with me before, trained elsewhere, or taught themselves, have asked to add this skill. This Masterclass was created specifically for them.
These are the same finishing techniques I use in my own work. I’ve simply built them into a session where you can apply them to your own pieces.
Why airbrush finishing matters
Most casting training focuses on capturing the detail.
The finishing stage is where you bring that detail to life.
Airbrushing allows you to build subtle colour, create natural variation and add the final touches that help a keepsake feel more realistic and professionally finished.
Every piece is different. A delicate baby cast, a pet paw print or a memorial keepsake may each need a slightly different approach.
This session isn’t about following a single formula. It’s about understanding how to look at each piece and decide what it needs.
Who this Masterclass is for
This training is suitable if you already create:
- Baby life casts
- Family hand castings
- Pet keepsakes
- Memorial pieces
- 2D outprint tiles
It is ideal for:
- Existing casters wanting to improve their finishing
- Previous students returning to develop another skill
- Casters who feel their finished pieces don’t yet reflect the quality of their casting
- Existing casters who want more confidence with colour and airbrush techniques
If possible, bring a recent piece along. Working on your own cast means the advice is tailored specifically to your work.
What we will cover
During your private session, we’ll look at:
- Preparing your cast ready for finishing
- Choosing suitable materials and colours
- Building colour gradually
- Creating realistic tones
- Adding subtle shading and variation
- Avoiding common mistakes
- Protecting your finished piece
- Choosing equipment and suppliers with confidence
You’ll learn not just what to do, but why you are doing it, so you can make decisions confidently on future pieces.
Every training session is delivered privately, one person at a time. This means we can work at your pace, focus on your questions, and spend time on the areas where you personally need the most guidance.
What previous students say
Although this is a specialist airbrush session, the teaching approach is the same across all my training. For me, good training isn’t just about showing someone what to do. It’s about making sure they leave feeling confident enough to continue independently.
“Glenda is a top tier tutor, her patience, kindness and tutoring skills are all I could’ve hoped for and more.”
— Julie A, Scotland
The support after training has been invaluable:
“No amount of money can pay for that kind of ongoing care.”
— Salma, Tanzania“I still WhatsApp Glenda whenever I’m in doubt. She’s always there.”
— Ping, Norway

I don’t disappear when the session ends. If you need advice as you continue practising, I’m always happy to help.
