A little bit about how this works

I know that deciding to invest in training — especially when you’re building something around family life and a budget — is not a decision you take lightly. So I want to be completely honest with you about what each option gives you, and let you decide what’s right for you.

There’s no pressure here. Some students do one day, take their notes and videos home, and work it out themselves — and they do brilliantly. Most do two days and leave feeling genuinely ready to work with clients. Some do all three and want the complete picture from the start. All of those are completely valid and I’ll support you whatever you choose.

What makes this training different

I arrange your models for you. Every training day includes a real baby or family — organised by me, at no extra cost. You arrive, you learn, you cast. No dolls, no plastic hands, no asking a friend to bring their baby and hoping it goes well.

I also teach you to work with different materials for different situations — because a newborn requires a completely different approach to an older baby, and getting that right is what separates a confident caster from someone who struggles the moment real life doesn’t match their practice. That adaptability is at the heart of everything I teach.

And when your training ends, I don’t disappear. The post-training support I offer is something students mention again and again — questions answered, encouragement given, guidance whenever you need it.

The options — you choose what’s right for you

One day — £650

One day gives you the foundations. You’ll work with a newborn, learn the correct materials and techniques for delicate skin, and leave with your cast, comprehensive notes, videos and a trusted supplier list. If you’re on a tight budget and happy to practise at home, one day is a perfectly valid starting point — many students have built successful businesses from exactly this.

Two days — £1,300

Two days is where most students find their confidence really takes hold. Day 1 starts with a newborn — still, delicate, and the perfect model for learning precision and the right materials. Day 2 steps it up with a baby of around 6 months — wriggly, unpredictable, and a completely different technique and set of materials. You’ll also learn the handclasp and finish with professional airbrushing. By the end most students feel genuinely ready to work with real clients.

Three days — £1,950 (saving £100)

Three days covers everything — advanced family compositions, complex multi-step castings, premium finishing and the higher-level techniques that open up more ambitious, higher-value work. Day 3 can be done consecutively with Days 1 and 2, or at a later date when you feel ready. Book all three upfront and save £100, paid in two comfortable instalments.

Practical details

• Hours: 9:30am – 3:30pm each day
• Location: Private studio, Lytchett Matravers, Dorset, BH16 6DP — approximately 15 minutes from Poole, 30 minutes from Bournemouth. Free parking.
• Models: Arranged by me — real babies and families. Nothing for you to organise.
• Materials: Everything provided on the day
• Payment: 50% deposit to secure your dates, balance due the week before. International payments via Wise.
