Jo Butler’s Journey: From Self-Doubt to Artistic Empowerment
Before attending my 3D casting workshop at the end of 2022, Jo had a degree in Fine Art but struggled with self-doubt and lacked the confidence to pursue her artistic interests. After taking part in the workshop, Jo’s mindset shifted. She mastered 3D casting and, more importantly, found her voice as an artist again.
She now runs Sentimental Castings in Southsea, creating beautiful keepsakes for her clients. It’s been incredible to witness Jo’s transformation, from someone unsure of her potential to an artist running a successful business.
Even better, Jo and I continue to stay in touch as she grows her business. Watching her confidence and skills evolve has been a joy and shows how creative hobbies can unlock not just skills but personal transformation.
