Donna’s Journey
Donna runs The Little Pottery Barn at Farrington Farm. For over a year, she’d been curious about specialist 3D casting training but felt nervous to start — she’d made mistakes trying before, and wasn’t sure she could get it right this time.
When she finally trained with me, her confidence grew steadily through the day. By the end, her relief and pride were clear.
Just yesterday, she shared a cast on her business Facebook page — an adult holding a baby’s hand, one of the trickier projects to get right. Seeing that made me smile. That’s exactly what learning something new after 50 looks like.
There’s No Deadline on Passion
I’m over 50 myself, and I’ve run Precious Memories for more than 20 years. I’ve raised two daughters who’ve watched me build a business, learn new skills, and work through the hard parts along the way. I hope they see there’s no deadline on passion or purpose.
If you feel drawn to a new skill, a fresh dream, or a different path, you don’t need to be 25 to be brave — you just need to be willing. When you are, things happen.
I offer specialist 3D casting training for beginners and advanced learners alike, alongside business mentoring tailored specifically for women over 50.
